BMW Chassis Repair – Chassis & Subframe Welding, Devizes

This BMW came to us with accident damage to the front chassis section - bent well beyond anything that could be pulled straight. Rather than trying to force it back into shape, we cut the damaged section out completely and replaced it with a genuine new chassis piece. This kind of repair lives or dies on measurement. Before any welding starts, every mounting point and panel line has to be mapped out so the replacement section lines up exactly where the factory put it. Get that wrong and the front end never sits right, however good the weld looks. We took the time to check and recheck the alignment at every stage, then welded the new section in and protected it ready for the next stage of the rebuild. This job was carried out as a mobile repair, done entirely at the customer's home in Devizes. Being on a driveway rather than in the workshop doesn't change the standard - the same care and precision goes into a mobile chassis repair as anything we do on the ramps, so the car goes back together properly and returns to the road safely.
