Flatbed Rear Chassis Repair – Chassis & Subframe Welding, Chippenham

This flatbed came in with its rear chassis rail rotted right through after years of grit, water and road salt taking their toll. It's a classic case of rust hiding more damage than it first lets on — once we got underneath, the full extent of the problem became clear. Every rotten section was cut out completely rather than covered over, then new repair sections were fabricated from scratch and welded into the rear chassis. All the rot was cut back to solid steel, fully boxed in, and finished off ready for primer. From rusted and cracked to structurally sound again. This is what mobile welding is all about: getting fleet vehicles back to a safe, MOT-ready standard without the truck ever needing to leave site.
