A beautiful Morris Minor 1000 in the workshop — and as original as they come on the outside. Underneath was a different story. The inner front wheel arch had started to go soft with rust, so we cut out the affected section and welded in fresh steel. While we had it stripped back we noticed the underseal on the arch wasn’t bonding properly — it was lifting in places and not doing the job it should — so rather than leave it, we took it all back to bare metal, primed it properly, and repainted the whole area from scratch.
