Welding in Glastonbury — MOT, Mobile & Fabrication

Glastonbury's festival culture means campervans and converted vans pass through constantly — and a lot of them need welding work, from structural repairs to custom fabrication for the next adventure. The town has a distinctly different vehicle mix to our Wiltshire towns.

About 22 miles into Somerset, we group Glastonbury jobs with other calls in that area rather than promise a same-day dash. Festival vans work tends to come in waves — before and after the busy season.

Structural rust repair for older vehicles is a speciality here too — campervans that have been lived in and travelled in develop the same corrosion issues as any older vehicle.

Mobile Welding in Glastonbury

Festival vans and converted campers take a beating — rough fields, long journeys, and the occasional bump. We weld floor repairs, fabricate roof racks and ladder mounts, reinforce conversion brackets and carry out the structural welding that older vans need to stay roadworthy and safe.

Rust finds the sills and floorpans on older vans just as it does on cars. We cut out the corroded metal, weld in new steel sections and treat the repair properly — not a surface patch that'll blister through again next winter. The approach is the same whether it's a T25 or a T6.

On the MOT side, we handle the common failure points for Glastonbury drivers — sills, jacking points, floorpans and chassis sections. We also take on custom fabrication projects for the creative community here; if you can describe it, we can usually build it.

Glastonbury is far enough from Westbury that we'll plan your job as part of a Somerset run rather than promise a same-day call-out. Tell us what you're building or what's failed and we'll work out the best way to help.
